Anuradhapura Teachers Training Programme on “Sustainable Management of Polythene"

The National Research Council successfully conducted the Teachers Trainig workshop on outreach programme 2017/ 2018, “Sustainable Management of Polythene" which was held at the Anuradhapura Walisinghe Harischandra college auditoriom, on 11^thMay 2018.

Target Audience: One Teacher from each schools in Anuradhapura educational zone

Summary: The Programme delivered as a workshop and there were 140 teachers and officials from Anuradhapura educational zone was participated for the programme to representing 75 schools of Anuradhapura educational zone. The workshop delivered with 4 major sessions, General Idea, Waste Management, Health, Risk, and Wildlife Conservation and also a question and answer session.
