Objectives

The main objective of this research proposal are:

  1. Development of the mathematical and simulation model for microgrid and do the dynamic response analysis, stability analysis, modeling the parameter uncertainty, effect of the load perturbation.
  2. Develop an adaptive protection system for the developed microgrid, where a central protection center (CPC) monitors the microgrid continuously and whenever fault is detected in the network, the relay settings of the microgrid are altered adaptively based on instructions issues by CPC
  3. Development of an adaptive protection scheme based on graph theory and optimization algorithms. This will be a generalized solution where it can be applied to any MIcroGrid
